Where Disability Meets Advocacy & Art!

Disability is a topic that should be at the forefront of all Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion conversations!  I am always looking for collaborators who are genuinely interested in making the world more accessible!  Access is a journey with many different perspectives.  Here's a list of my favorite topics!

  • Accessible theatre practices for audiences and actors

  • Disability representation in all types of media

  • Accessible workspaces

  • Disability culture & language

  • Creating accessible events

  • Disability-centred policies and frameworks

  • Cerebral Palsy, Neurodivergence & Service Dogs

  • Disability-centred storytelling

  • Healthcare & how to navigate the system as a patient and caregiver

  • Fighting the inaccessibility of art with art!

If you have an additional topic that you'd like to explore with me, please don't hesitate to connect with me.

Relaxed Performance Audit

What are Relaxed Performances? Relaxed Performances are designed to welcome audience members who would benefit from a more relaxed and inclusive environment, including those with sensory concerns, such as Autism, learning disorders, or dementia; parents with small babies; or anyone for whom the regular theatre experience can be unwelcoming.

A PAC is a crew member in theatre and film with lived experience in Disability Culture and Accessibility, Education, and Production. I am ideally situated to benefit production by budgeting for accommodations, eliminating time and costs spent on commonly overlooked accessibility issues, offering specific situational expertise, acting as a safe point of communication, handling accommodation services, leading crew education, providing cultural context, maintaining access on set, approving access features
